Bruce Almighty playing God tries to organize the millions of prayers He is hearing all day long in his brain. God knows our thoughts, our ways. Looking at this movie scene I laugh and think God is listening to all of us there is no way there is even room for His own thoughts...
"For who knows a person's thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God." - 1 Corinthians 2:11
For only the Spirit to know God's thoughts means that God has thoughts. God has given us His spirit that we may know Him. That means that as we are in the spirit we can get in on the "secret" that is God's thoughts. There have been times where I was in a place of uncertainty. When I am in uncertainty, I am constantly asking God "What do you want?" In those times, as I make space for the Spirit, God lets me in on the secrets a little bit. He gives me little knows about what could happen, little insights and understandings.
Then there's times where I will look at a person or a situation and wonder.. "God what do you think about this person?" or "What do you think about this situation?" When you give the Spirit of God the room, it is such an awesome thing. Many times God has completely changed my perspective on a person or my understanding of a situation just because I gave him the space to do so.
I'm not going to go on and on about my thoughts on the subject, my goal is that you would ask God about his thoughts! Below I'm providing different verses talking about God's thoughts to hopefully help you give you a great jump start to a study or a dig into a conversation with God about his thoughts!
